ROLE

Editorial + Visual Design

TIMELINE

Aug 2022 - Sep 2022

PLATFORM

Print

PBS Education partnered with our team to create two educator-facing print pieces: a brand booklet and a strategy report. My role was to translate PBS’s values into thoughtful, editorial layouts while balancing clarity, structure, and tone to make dense content both accessible and visually compelling.

OVERVIEW

Design educational print pieces that are informative, credible, and visually engaging for educators and stakeholders.

CHALLENGE

I led the design and development of interior spreads and covers for PBS, creating a layout system rooted in the brand’s identity. I used typography, color, and hierarchy to balance warmth and authority while ensuring a clear visual flow. For strategy reports, I designed infographic pages and data-heavy sections, using visual storytelling to enhance readability and maintain clarity across print formats.

APPROACH

CONCLUSION

The print materials helped PBS Education effectively communicate key strategies and brand values to educators and stakeholders, enhancing engagement through clear, approachable design. The thoughtful editorial approach made complex content accessible, supporting PBS’s mission to inform and inspire learning communities.

With a tight timeline, I had the opportunity to lead the project end-to-end, shaping editorial layouts and design systems that balanced clarity and warmth. This experience strengthened my ability to deliver thoughtful, on-brand print materials under pressure while guiding the creative vision.
