ROLE

Visual Design

TIMELINE

Jan 2020 - Feb 2025

PLATFORM

Campaigns, Public Outreach, Community Education, Mobile, Web

With Valley Water, I led creative development across two key initiatives:
Marketing campaigns for local water events and programs, and public communications simplifying complex infrastructure projects. The work spanned social media, digital assets, print, signage, and other public-facing materials.

OVERVIEW

Communicate essential but often overlooked civic topics in ways that feel relevant, digestible, and community-first.

CHALLENGE

I led design for Valley Water campaigns and community materials—creating approachable visuals for events and clear, accessible graphics to explain complex infrastructure. Work included digital, print, bilingual, and ADA-compliant formats, all aligned with Valley Water’s brand.

APPROACH

MARKETING

I led the creative direction and branding for National River Cleanup Day, an annual event held in partnership with CCAG and local municipalities. My design was selected as the official visual direction for the year and adapted across digital and print media to maximize outreach. I oversaw all deliverables shared with event partners to ensure consistency and impact.

INFORMATIONAL COLLATERAL

REPORTS

The campaigns and educational materials reached diverse communities across Santa Clara County and supported Valley Water’s mission to increase public understanding of local water initiatives.

CONCLUSION

CONTRIBUTIONS

These projects challenged me to design across a wide range of formats from bold, event-driven campaigns to clear, accessible infrastructure communications. I created everything from social media graphics and print collateral to infographics and mailers, adapting visual systems to meet diverse community needs.

Balancing creativity with clarity, I transformed complex information into approachable, engaging visuals. This work deepened my belief in design as a civic tool, one that connects institutions to the people they serve through thoughtful, impactful communication.
